My darling daughter-in-law Katie helped me list 2 darling little dresses on Etsy this evening. (After a few phone calls to Sarah!) I've been sewing up a storm making dresses for the babies and other friends kids, making some rag quilts and a few quilt tops. Also making some pajama pants for the boys out of Utah Jazz fabric. Hal, Katie and Sophia flew in from MN on Thursday afternoon for some fun here in UT. Hal has been here for a week and I will fly back to MN with him next Sunday. Beautiful weather today and yesterday. We went to the Dinosaur Park and Museum yesterday. It was so fun, I was very impressed. Hal and I continue to look for a home here in UT.

Lots of Fabric
I don't know what got into me, probably lack of sleep, but the other day I decided I would preshrink all the fabric that I am using on the little dresses. It is a massive amount of fabric and now I am trying to iron all of it so that it can be folded and sorted. I ironed for 3 hours straight and didn't make a dent in it. I should be ironing right now but I can't force myself to. Had a day off from the kids today. Hailey went to a family reunion with Jason's parents for the weekend. She is feeling much better now that she is on ATB for strep. Ikey is on ATB for his ears again, but much more pleasant. Hopefully Liz can get some sleep tonight. I'm sure I will as I'm home tonight. Today is Dad's 84th birthday. He had a great day today. Sarah and Katie are running in Grandma's 1/2 Marathon tomorrow morning. Good for those running girls. I wish I could be there to cheer them on. Missing my babies in MN, but looking forward to Hal, Katie, and Sophia coming to UT in July, can't wait. I have some ideas for new little girl dresses. But have to finish the ironing first. Later...

Catching Up
Wow. it's been a busy month. Trip to Mn to visit the kids and Hal. Home to a sick daughter who had surgery on Tues. She's doing better. I've been sewing like mad when I'm home. I made 2 cupcake dresses and a yellow and purple dress since I've been home. If I knew how to post pictures I would. New carpet was installed in the family room on Wed. Yaaa, no more stinky carpet. Lots of rain lately. But a nice sunny day today. Jason's going to army for 2 weeks starting tomorrow. Ike is finally walking. It is so cute. Love my darling grandkids. Bought cowboy fabric to make a boy quilt. More later...

I can't stop feeling sick!
I've had an earache in one or both ears for the past 3 nights. Sore throat, swollen glands, general fatigue. I am so sick of feeling sick. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Elwood is gone, he was not a good fit for us. Lisa and Dad went to Park City on Saturday and adopted Lucy, a purebed Shiz Tzu. She is 12 yrs. old and very sweet. Lisa has been keeping her overnight until I feel better. I'm working on a quilt for my niece, Molly, for her graduation. I think she will love it, I do. Very bright colors. Will be heading back to MN on Saturday for about 2 1/2 weeks. Need to get outside and finish weeding!

May Day
Wow, I haven't blogged for so long and so much has happened. Let's see... I watched Ikey last week due to his having pinkeye. Gross. The he had a bad ear infection and I slept over at their house one night. Hal came into town last Saturday. Big April birthday party at Lisa's on Sunday but Ike had to miss his first b-day due to being sick. Ruby died on Wednesday morning, she was very old, 17 or 18. It was very sad. We buried her in Lisa's backyard. We got a new dog for Dad today, Elwood. He's about 8 yrs old. Part Llasa . Scruffy but cute. Dad loved him up, took him for a walk, laid down and took a nap. When he woke up he called Lisa, "There's a little black and white dog here, do you know about him? And where's Ruby?" We had to laugh. Elwood went out to the potty and ran away from me, when I picked him up he bit me. OWWW! Then came in a did a HUGE barf on the carpet! Lisa should be sleeping over tonight! More soon....
