Lots of Fabric

I don't know what got into me, probably lack of sleep, but the other day I decided I would preshrink all the fabric that I am using on the little dresses. It is a massive amount of fabric and now I am trying to iron all of it so that it can be folded and sorted. I ironed for 3 hours straight and didn't make a dent in it. I should be ironing right now but I can't force myself to. Had a day off from the kids today. Hailey went to a family reunion with Jason's parents for the weekend. She is feeling much better now that she is on ATB for strep. Ikey is on ATB for his ears again, but much more pleasant. Hopefully Liz can get some sleep tonight. I'm sure I will as I'm home tonight. Today is Dad's 84th birthday. He had a great day today. Sarah and Katie are running in Grandma's 1/2 Marathon tomorrow morning. Good for those running girls. I wish I could be there to cheer them on. Missing my babies in MN, but looking forward to Hal, Katie, and Sophia coming to UT in July, can't wait. I have some ideas for new little girl dresses. But have to finish the ironing first. Later...

Catching Up

Wow. it's been a busy month. Trip to Mn to visit the kids and Hal. Home to a sick daughter who had surgery on Tues. She's doing better. I've been sewing like mad when I'm home. I made 2 cupcake dresses and a yellow and purple dress since I've been home. If I knew how to post pictures I would. New carpet was installed in the family room on Wed. Yaaa, no more stinky carpet. Lots of rain lately. But a nice sunny day today. Jason's going to army for 2 weeks starting tomorrow. Ike is finally walking. It is so cute. Love my darling grandkids. Bought cowboy fabric to make a boy quilt. More later...
